The Funky Brunch Cafe

One of my favorite breakfast restaurants in Savannah is called The Funky Brunch Cafe! Not only does this place have great food, but it also has a special feature, you cook your own pancakes! Now this may not sound that fun, but trust me, it is. You may be wondering how you cook them. No, you don’t go back in the kitchen, they have stoves built into the tables! They spray the stoves, give you a spatula, the batter, and a topping. Then you are ready to cook! You can create all different shapes and sizes because they give you the batter in a squirt bottle. If you don’t feel like cooking your own pancakes, you can ask them to make it (but I highly recommend making it yourself because its more fun). If you’re not in the mood for pancakes, there are lots of other things that are just as good. They have things like bacon and eggs, hash browns, burgers, and sandwiches. The Funky Brunch Cafe is a perfect place for breakfast or lunch!

Picolo’s Pizza

I don’t know about you, but I like thick pizza. If you like that kind of pizza, Picolo’s is the place to go. When we drove into the parking lot and saw only one car there I was kind of scared that it wouldn’t be good. But, boy I was wrong! They use a special folded-over technique to create the crust of the pizza. I haven’t seen this anywhere else in Savannah. Really it’s the crust that is thick not the entire pizza. My pizza was cooked perfectly with lots of seasonings which made it tasty. It was fast and hot. If you are not a pizza person, they have sandwiches, and lots more. You can eat it there, or they deliver.

They are a new restaurant so definitely give them some support. For lunch try the $7.49 all-you-can-eat pizza bar which includes a drink. Go there and try it your self, and like them on Facebook.
